Situated at Av. Dr. Francisco Loup, 901, this gem serves as a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy not only a great meal but also a fantastic view of the coast. As you walk in, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere where the ocean breeze mingles with the delicious smells wafting from the kitchen.

The menu at Badaue Maresias is a celebration of Brazilian cuisine with a modern twist. The variety of fresh, local ingredients used in the dishes is something to note. Whether you're craving seafood or a hearty meat dish, there’s something for everyone. One of their most popular items is the grilled fish, perfectly seasoned and served with a side of traditional farofa (a toasted cassava flour mixture). It's a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy a taste of the ocean, paired with the best of local Brazilian flavors.

What stands out most about this restaurant is its dedication to fresh, seasonal ingredients. During my visit, I had the pleasure of tasting their "moqueca," a traditional Brazilian seafood stew cooked with coconut milk, peppers, and tomatoes. The dish was perfectly balanced and demonstrated the chef's attention to detail in bringing together the best of local seafood and tropical flavors. The moqueca is a must-try for anyone visiting Badaue Maresias, as it showcases the heart of Brazilian coastal cuisine.

The ambiance of the restaurant complements its menu. It’s an ideal location for both casual meals and more intimate gatherings. The décor incorporates a mix of rustic and modern touches, with wooden tables and large windows that allow plenty of natural light to pour in. Whether you're dining in the cozy interior or on the outdoor patio, the restaurant offers a relaxing environment perfect for enjoying a meal while soaking in the beauty of the surrounding area. It’s a place that truly captures the essence of Maresias.

As you look through the menu, you'll notice a variety of other options like the traditional "feijoada," Brazil’s famous black bean stew served with rice, meats, and fresh orange slices. Each dish is crafted to perfection, ensuring that every bite brings out the distinct flavors of the region. For dessert, don't miss the "pudim de leite," a sweet caramel flan that’s the perfect way to end your meal on a high note.

Not only is the food at Badaue Maresias exceptional, but the service is top-notch as well. The staff is attentive and friendly, always willing to offer suggestions or share details about the dishes. They take pride in ensuring that each guest feels welcome and well taken care of, adding to the overall experience. The combination of friendly service, amazing food, and the gorgeous view makes this restaurant a standout in the Maresias area.

For anyone exploring the beautiful coast of São Sebastião, Badaue Maresias is a must-visit. The combination of its diverse menu, fresh ingredients, and inviting atmosphere makes it a true culinary destination. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that captures the essence of Brazilian coastal cuisine. • Every time I travel to Maresias, I try to stay in the beach section in front of Badaue. It has the most tasty food which you can order with the waiters that attend the area. Never eaten actually inside the restaurant but the food I usually order is always delicious. Sometime the beach area is full so we have to find another location but this is by far my favorite area to say while at the beach. I feel bad sometime for the servers since they are out all day under the sun which sometimes is hard to find someone to attend you. But over all they are great and the food is good.

  • Location: can’t beat it. Great spot to watch the sunset. Deck opens up directly onto the beach. Staff: Well trained. responsive, attentive. Food: excellent. Both the sushi and pizza were very good. Food comes out quickly. We got a remake roll in approx 5 min and a pizza in less than 15.

  • The staff was friendly and helpful. They serve fresh fish and juices. We had the fish of the day with banana and pirão. The portions are significant, so you can share if you are not too hungry. The view is perfect!

  • Great fish, drinks and - most specially - ocean / beach view. They are a great option for lunch and dinner and will be pricey. But it is worth while for what u get.
